Testimonials

As of last year, board members can request a testimonial as a confirmation of their membership of a board. This already existed for top associations, but since last year the testimonials are also available to all associations linked to the TU/e. The testimonials can be requested via the umbrella associations.

In the testimonial, a few board-competencies are described that are part of one’s board year. They include:

• Practicing leadership role

• Writing and executing of strategies and policies

• Maintaining the finances of the organization

• Project management and conflict management

• The use of media and public relations and many more hard and soft skills.

DAS thinks testimonials are a grateful way of doing a board year, which can be used in future applications.
